Shashlik (Shish Kebab)

  • Pork - 2 kg
  • Onion - 3 pcs medium size
  • ASW seasoning "For BBQ" - 2 tbsp.
  • Salt - to taste

Method of preparation

Meat should be marinated with onions overnight! If you don’t have so much time, use the ASW seasoning “Budzhak salt” to quickly marinate the meat (1.5-2 hours would be enough).

Peel and finely chop the onion (you can use grinder or blender).

Cut the meat in identical pieces of medium size across the grains.

Put a layer of onion on the bottom of the bowl for marination.

On top of the onion put a layer of meat, salted and seasoned with a mixture of "For BBQ".

Again a layer of onions and a layer of meat, etc. Finish with onion.

Put marinated meat on skewers and grill over coals for approx. 20 minutes, constantly turning. Prevent grill flare-ups, otherwise the meat will burn.
