Gingerbread with spices

Ingredients

  • Flour - 2.5 cups
  • Honey - 50g
  • Butter - 6 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 15g
  • Seasoning Santa Verde "Gingerbread mixture" - 1 tbsp

Method of preparation

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the honey, sugar and Santa Verde "Gingerbread Blend".
  2.  Pour the mixture into a large bowl to cool it, add the beaten egg and mix everything well.
  3.  Sift the flour with baking powder. Stirring constantly, pour the flour mixture into the honey-egg mixture. Knead everything well, wrap in ash film and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  4.  Roll out the cooled dough a couple of mm and cut out the desired figures, lay out on a paper-lined baking sheet. Bake at 175 degrees for 4-5 minutes until get browned. Cool on a baking sheet.
  5.  If desired, decorate with glaze: whipped protein + powder + lemon juice
