Pickled cow brynza (Salted cheese)
- Cow brynza (salted cheese) - 400 g,
- Olive or vegetable oil,
- Garlic - 6 cloves,
- Hot pepper - 2 pieces,
- AllSpiceWorld seasoning “Italian Herbs”,
- Hot red pepper flakes (Acı Pul Kırmızı Biber)
Method of preparation
Cut the brynza into cubes.
Peel and slice the garlic into the form of thin petals.
Slice the hot pepper into thin rings.
Put brynza cubes in a clean dry jar, sprinkling with garlic, Italian herbs and hot pepper flakes.
Fill in this way the whole jar until the ingredients run out.
Pour the olive or vegetable oil over cheese so that the oil covers the brynza.
Close the jar with a lid and put in the refrigerator for 1-2 days, so that the brynza is well marinated.
The longer it is marinated, the tastier it becomes.
Brynza can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
